Starting in his childhood, Niklaus questioned many of the things taught in school, to find in adulthood that indeed his intuition and insight at the time were correct. As a teenager and onwards, he had experiences far beyond the theories of modern science that led him to explore the inner universe and to unleash the hidden potential there. His ongoing thirst for knowledge also led him into broad range of fields and interests, which have continuously augmented the development of his sensory skills.

In his academic career, Niklaus studied Performing Arts, with minors in Psychology and Logic at the Mount Royal University in Calgary, he studied Engineering, with minors in Economics, Computer Science and Astrophysics at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and he obtained his Master of Science in Electronic Engineering, with minors in Business Development, Information and Communication Technologies as well as in Environmental Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.

In his career, Niklaus has worked, among others, for Sony Canada, Philips, the Swiss Federal Government, Swiss Federal Railways SBB AG, Siemens (Switzerland and Germany), Capita Symonds Ltd. UK and India as well as the Toyo Engineering Corporation in Japan. In the past decade, he has also founded and successfully led several innovative start-up companies in Switzerland.
